The Latest Bump in
Life’s Road
Many of you may know already, but if not, this will make it
official. This dinosaur has been
diagnosed in December with bladder cancer. While any kind of cancer is a serious situation, it’s by no
means a death sentence. Numerous
tests have confirmed the diagnosis and that it has not spread at this
point. The good news is that in
spite of one surgery and lots of concern for Phyllis and I and our friends and
family, I feel fine.
After a mild early winter the Michigan weather is taking
part in making things more difficult.
Cold and snow make trying to get 2nd or 3rd
opinions difficult. For the past
two days we’ve blown show and shoveled to not get marooned. We’ve got a lot of friends at church
and around the country keeping us in their prayers and their hearts. Doing blogs will be difficult for a
while, but I wanted my friends to know the score.
This dinosaur is not ready for extinction, so if anyone out
there will add their prayers to those we’re already blessed with, Phyllis and I
will appreciate your help.
Meanwhile love your Collies and love each other. Our world can use more of that
Think about it!!
Most definitely saying prayers for you!

May you recover and have many years left for your writing, wisedom, and love for Collies. You are in my prayers.

It was Hubbie who made the discovery about this little bump in life’s road.
